Veterans Day Run / Wed. Nov. 11

Reminder: We are on for a group trail run in the Phoenix Mountain Preserve Wednesday morning 5:16 AM. Meet at the very top lot of Squaw Peak Drive past the main trail head of Piestewa Peak. Plan on a little over one hour at a slow to moderate pace. The forecasted weather is a beautiful 63 degrees. Don’t forget your headlamp. In honor of Veterans Day, the Runners of week go out to Robert Andrulis and Bill Barthen for their service to our country.
Good job for Honey, Jody and Liz for another successful double crossing of the Grand Canyon over the weekend. The report back from the trip said they had fantastic weather and a great time. Good luck to anyone running the Mad Dog 50K this weekend at Reach-11 park.

I'm a big fan of your Web site and would love to get out and run with you, but it does not work with my schedule. I'm an Active Duty Army guy out there at a lot of the races and will see many of you at the 24 Hour Run to the Future! See you soon. Thanks for the Veterans Day wish and good luck to everyone! I was working at the aid station today at Mad Dog 50K, maybe some of you were out there? Kat put on a great race!

Thank you for recognizing the veterans. Sorry for being so out of touch and absent from the Arizona landscape so much. I'm injured, too, so not much of a runner right now. I'll be back though.
